Advocacy has never been more critical. The National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) is gearing up for Virtual Capitol Hill Day on September 17, 2025, bringing together advocates from across the country to engage directly with members of Congress.
Participants will receive training and preparation materials ahead of time, ensuring every conversation with lawmakers is strategic, informed, and impactful. This is a unique chance to raise the voices of providers, people with lived experience, and community leaders in shaping the federal homelessness response.

Street outreach is often the first point of contact between individuals experiencing homelessness and the broader response system. Done well, it’s not just about offering immediate resources — it’s about building pathways to permanent housing.
On August 27, 2025, the National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) will host a webinar exploring strategies for housing-focused street outreach. The session will highlight best practices, case studies, and innovative approaches that help outreach teams move beyond temporary fixes toward long-term solutions.
This is a valuable opportunity for outreach workers, case managers, and system leaders to re-examine how engagement in the field connects directly to housing outcomes.
